Still taking a breather from the blogosphere. Trying to contain things that feel private all of a sudden like visits to orphanages. Also still trying to finish The Novel - if that is what it is ever to be - if only to start writing the next.....

Hi Ruth,
It's enough if you post a photo of the countryside now and then and a short note about life in France. I'm going to try to keep up with my blog too, even when I don't feel like there is a lot to say. Faithful readers will keep coming back to check on us and it is a community who cares about each other's lives. I try to remember that even when I don't feel inspired.

Thank goodness you decided to keep posting. I was so saddened to not have your posts in my life lately, but of course, felt like it is your right to have some privacy so tried to keep my mouth shut. It was hard! I am especially bummed that I won't be seeing Mali through your eyes, but I'll take what I can get. With two small children and the dollar plummeting I don't feel like I'll get back to France any time soon, so these little snippets of life in France are like my own European vacation. Thank you for continuing them - especially if it's more for your audience than for yourself. -Jenna
